Jacksonville, FL, October 2, 2006 – Saturday, September 30, 2006, floridarealtyweb.com, Ace Mortgage Funding, LLC, and Ponte Vedra Title hosted a Black and White Night social affair raising $1400 from a variety of silent auction items. Guests arrived at the Seawalk Hotel sporting their favorite black and white attire. Everyone enjoyed the music and laid back atmosphere in the courtyard, delicious food from Twisted Sisters restaurant, and some even walked away with a few silent auction items.

The guest of honor, Devon Hitch, a Miracle Child, and her father, Anthony, told a heartwarming story about their experience with Shands Jacksonville and the support they received from the Children’s Miracle Network while she was being treated after a tragic car accident. Devon is just one example of why events such as this one, which raise funds and awareness, are so important to the local community.

Children’s Miracle Network is dedicated to improving the health and welfare of all children by raising funds and awareness for the pediatric programs at Shands Jacksonville and Wolfson Children’s Hospital.
