Luke's mother noticed a lump in his stomach. She took him immediately to the hospital where they told her Luke had a tumor inside his stomach. Later that week, Luke started chemotherapy. The doctors did not see the tumor shrinking like they wanted so Luke was put on an even stronger dose of chemotherapy.
The family spent many hours on the fifth floor of Wolfson Children's Hospital. Luke receives chemotherapy every day. Today, Luke is almost three years old and still fighting. The Anderson family refuses to give in and become bitter. They work to raise money so that a cure can be found.
