11th Annual Florida Telco Festival of Lights

5k and Family Fun Run

JACKSONVILLE, FL, October 31, 2007It’s getting to be that time again – Christmas time!  To ring in the holiday season, Children’s Miracle Network will be hosting the 11th Annual Florida Telco Festival of Lights 5K and Fun Run on Sunday, December 2, 2007.  The event will begin at the Baptist Eye Institute located on San Marco Blvd. and will continue through the beautiful neighborhoods of San Marco, whose streets will be lit by over 1,900 luminaries.  For the children, there will be a one-mile Fun Run starting at 5:30p.m and for the avid runners and dedicated walkers, the 5K will begin at 6:00p.m. 

With jingle bells tied to your shoes and singing carolers along the route, holiday sounds will surround you while you enjoy this family friendly event! There will even be a special Food Lion Kid Zone.  Here children can play games, get their faces painted and even enjoy a special visit from jolly ole’ St. Nick.

Children’s Miracle Network is dedicated to improving health and welfare of all children by raising funds and awareness for the pediatric programs at Shands Jacksonville and Wolfson Children’s Hospital.
