Christmas Concert Under the Stars Gives Hope for Hospitalized Children

JACKSONVILLE, FL, October 18, 2007 “T’was the Flight Before Christmas:  Christmas Magic Under the Stars” will provide an evening of musical entertainment on Saturday, December 8, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. as the attendees enjoy the classic ambiance of an outdoor concert in the newly redesigned St. Augustine Amphitheatre while capturing the holiday spirit.

 Tickets are available today online at www.airetraffic.com or by calling 904-202-2760.   Attendees of all ages will enjoy the story line of good ‘Ole St. Nick traveling from the North Pole to St. Augustine to visit the children in attendance as featured band Aire Traffic and renowned jazz singer Dot Wilder take to the stage.    It will be a holiday affair with activities including cookie decorating for the kids, flight simulators, as well as hot cocoa and clam chowder available to warm you as the concert will ultimately warm your heart.All proceeds from the concert will stay local to benefit the pediatric programs of Shands Jacksonville and Wolfson Children’s Hospital through Children’s Miracle Network.  “T’was the Flight Before Christmas” will be making miracles happen in the lives of our local children. Funding raised for Children’s Miracle Network purchases medical equipment, child life activities and educational resources for the pediatric programs of Shands Jacksonville and Wolfson Children’s Hospital.  The funds raised locally stay local to benefit the children of our communities through the pediatric programs.
